LEGISLATION UPDATE: Yonkers City Council President Mike Khader is on the verge of passing legislation that would limit the fees that companies like Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash charge for delivering the order to only 10%. YONKERS CITY COUNCIL: This vote will take place in Yonkers on March 9th. YONKERS: This legislation will help protect the small business and restaurant owners that have been hit hard during the COVID 10 pandemic. If passed, the restaurants and small businesses can report violations of this law to the City of Yonkers Consumer Protection Bureau who will investigate and issue a fine to the third party delivery service.
