This is a reminder to everyone in the community that the City of Yonkers is getting a new COVID Vaccination site that will open on March 3, 2021 at the Yonkers National Guard Recruiting Center, located at 2 Quincy Place. Eligible residents who live in zip codes 10701, 10703, 10704, or 10705 have been able to pre-register online since earlier this week at http://on.ny.gov/3kgOorn, but you can still pre-register until March 3 or until the appointment slots fill up (they are already filling up really quickly). After March 3, 2021, the registration will be open to everyone in Westchester County, so please take this opportunity to register before the demand dramatically increases. For senior citizens having language, technological or any other difficulties in trying to make an appointment for the COVID vaccination, please call the Yonkers Office of the Aging ((914) 963-2460) who is always available to assist.
