Westchester Adds Veteran Reporter Lisa Reyes to Communications Team.
(White Plains, NY) – Westchester County Executive George Latimer is pleased to announce the addition of Lisa Reyes, a veteran of Westchester County news, to his Communications team. Reyes will serve the County as Communications Officer, bringing her diverse background and years of experience in the field to County government.
Latimer said: “Lisa is a recognizable face to many communities here in Westchester County. Her deep knowledge of the County and roots in the Latino community will help us further connect and share vital information with all our residents.”
Reyes, who most recently worked as Assistant News Director for WTXL/ABC 27 in Tallahassee, Florida, spent 11 years as a Reporter/Anchor for News12 Westchester.
Reyes said: “It is honor to return to Westchester to serve the people of this County on the team with County Executive George Latimer. I look forward to getting to work and communicating with County residents during these unprecedented times.”
Reyes will begin her post in late January.
I appreciate all the latinex people that have been hired and promoted in Westchester county. When will Westchester County government be hiring Black skinned people to visible and top level positions.
