Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers City Council Majority Leader, Corazon Pineda Issac, 2nd District.

 


This has been an amazing week, in large part because of Thanksgiving and the holiday spirit. This week, I was able to host and participate in multiple distributions, ranging from turkey giveaways for constituents in our district to hot meal drives, Thanksgiving dinners, etc. I am very grateful for the people in our great city for showing such amazing acts of community and selflessness during these trying times.

I hope that you all enjoyed Thanksgiving with your loved ones and followed the proper protocols and guidelines to protect against COVID-19. As requested by multiple constituents, I will be providing the breakdown of Covid cases both by numbers and by percent change . The number of COVID cases has increased dramatically over the past 3 weeks, so we need to do our part to flatten the curve!
