Fall Programs for District Two Children.
For those who are home schooling or wanting to supplement the school offerings this fall, the below are a sample of some of the options currently available in our towns.
County Programs:
The Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River is offering nature-based early learning programs for Pre-K children, operating outdoors, under New York State COVID-19 guidelines.
Trailside Nature Museum’s program for Pre-K children will run in two Monday through Thursday sessions with session one beginning Monday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with no sessions Columbus Day. Tuition is $550. Session two runs from Monday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Nov. 20, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuition is $750.

Village of Mount Kisco:
The Village is providing a supervised Remote School Workspace for Mount Kisco residents. This will be a daily drop-off program at the Henry V. Kensing Memorial Library in the Village. Children, grades 3-8, will be provided with a socially distant, supervised workspace with wireless internet access. The program runs from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The cost is $250 per student per month, and a month long commitment is required. Town of Lewisboro:
The Town is planning a Fall study hall for Lewisboro students of the Katonah-Lewisboro School District (KLSD). The "Lewisboro Learning Lot” will provide an academically oriented space to supplement the virtual school classes provided by Increase Miller, Katonah and Meadow Pond Elementary Schools. It will meet at the Lewisboro gym, and will follow a schedule aligned with KDSD’s Cohort A/B schedule. The program is 14 weeks long and runs from: 9:00am to 3:30pm. Costs for the fall season vary by cohort: Cohort A - $1,800 per student; Cohort B - $1,920 per student. For more information: https://www.lewisbororecreation.com/lll
