NY State Announces Food Court Seating in Malls Allowed to Reopen
New York State has updated its Malls Summary Guidelines and Detailed Guidance. Effective August 20, 2020, responsible parties may open food court seating areas. Provided, however, that such seating areas and the food services establishments located within the food courts operate in accordance with the Department of Health's ‘Interim Guidance for Food Services,’ including any required separation between tables with seating.

Governor Cuomo Announces Special Enrollment for the Uninsured Extended Through September 15, 2020
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that the Special Enrollment Period for uninsured New Yorkers will be extended through September 15, 2020, as the State continues to provide supportive services during the COVID-19 public health crisis. New Yorkers can apply for coverage through NY State of Health, New York State's health insurance marketplace, or directly through insurers.
Individuals who enroll in Qualified Health Plans through NY State of Health or directly through insurers by September 15, 2020 will have a choice of coverage start date either September 1, 2020 or October 1, 2020. Individuals who are eligible for other NY State of Health programs - Medicaid, Essential Plan and Child Health Plus - can enroll year-round.
Consumers can apply for coverage through NY State of Health online at nystateofhealth.ny.gov, by phone at 1-855-355-5777, and by connecting with a free enrollment assistor

Created to help support local restaurants as they begin to reopen, TIME TO DINE is a two week culinary event that started August 17th until August 30th. Nearly 200 restaurants that had been scheduled to participate in the Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which was postponed due to Covid-19, will be showcased along with a daily photo contest offering diners the opportunity to win a variety of prizes. 
TIME TO DINE will offer area residents the opportunity to help support local restaurants as they work to reopen.
