9/11: Serve + Remember is an annual community-wide action event dedicated to honoring the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001, through unity, empathy and service. We are thankful to the thousands of volunteers over the last 10 years who responded to, "How will you volunteer on September 11?" by signing up to support local nonprofits with us.  This year as we're limited in how we can volunteer together; we call on New Yorkers to join our efforts to focus the power of community and volunteering where it's needed most: fighting food insecurity. COVID-19 has caused a 40% increase in food insecurity in our community with some food pantries seeing a 300-900% increase in people requesting food. While local needs have spiked, community has not been canceled. On September 11, you can truly make a difference. REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
