Yonkers Insider: Town of Greenburgh Update.
Participated in a conference call with Con Ed and other municipal officials. Con Ed didn't have enough crews yesterday to restore power. They are sending in crews from around the country. Municipal officials were angry. Not seeing enough Con Ed restoration activity. Every time there is an outage we hear the same excuses. In 2018 the Governor threatened to take away Con Ed's license if power to customers wasn't restored quickly. Residents who are disabled or have medical issues should call the Greenburgh police at 989 1700. Sorry for the inconveniences. We are trying the best we can.
