Yonkers Insider: News from Town of Greenburgh.
If you are a senior citizen and staying at home during the COVID-19 crisis you don't have to be isolated. An organization called DOROT offers interactive online and phone programs for older adults. The University without Walls program (at home) is fantastic--lively discussions. Small groups that help participants explore art and culture, discuss the news, gain practical advice on health and find support among peers. They do so much more. Patricia Cippi Harte is a resident of Hartsdale and is director of DOROT Westchester. Her e mail is pcharte@dorotusa.org. She was a guest on my WVOX radio show last week and explains the many amazing programs offered by DOROT. Here is the completed YouTube link - https://youtu.be/r9danfmw35c Check out their website: www.dorotusa.org.
