YONKERS MAYOR MIKE SPANO & COUNCILMAN JOHN RUBBO TO USHER IN PHASE II OF REOPENING WITH VISIT TO LOCAL RESTAURANT.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will be joined by Yonkers City Councilman John Rubbo in visiting local restaurant Rory Dolan’s Restaurant & Bar, Tuesday, June 9 at 3:30PM at 890 McLean Ave, Yonkers, to usher in Phase II of the city’s reopening.  Phase II includes the reopening of restaurants for outdoor seating only. Last month, Mayor Spano issued an emergency order allowing restaurants to apply for fast tracked outdoor dining permits in preparation of the reopening.

Under the order, approved Yonkers restaurants are able to use sidewalks as long as they separate dining areas from passersby and leave four feet of sidewalk open. Establishments also can use their own parking lots and city lots for any ones adjacent to restaurants for seating.
