Statement from Mario De Giorgio, Republican Party Candidate for Yonkers Mayor.

Greetings Yonkers,

Our hearts with all parents in Yonkers as they are preparing their children for a new school day.

Our students are paying the price for the City Hall Politics. Members of the Board of Education Trustees are appointed by the mayor currently. Almost none of the current trustees has a background in Education. They consist of political hacks and campaign donors. Our students are the victims of political favors.

Under my administration, members of the Board of Education Trustees will be chosen by the people of Yonkers.

Today is the due date of the second installment of the real property taxes due to Yonkers.

When you make the payment, remember that the payment could have been a lot lower if we had someone who cared about the residents of Yonkers in City Hall.

When you make the payment, remember how much more is taken away from your family to feed the waste done by City Hall.

Whether you own a home or renting, the waste and indifference by City Hall is trickling down to all of us. We are feeling the pain.

My administration will never take more money away from the families of Yonkers residents.

Say enough to waste by City Hall and elect Mario J De Giorgio for Yonkers to get a fesh start.
