New York League of Conservation Voters endorses Westchester County Legislator Burrows for Re-Election.

I was honored to receive the endorsement from Julie Tighe and the rest of the New York League of Conservation Voters on my upcoming re-election bid for Westchester County Legislator of District 15.

Julie Tighe, President of the New York League of Conservation Voters, said, “Legislator Burrows fights for our environment and public health. He supported legislation to ban styrofoam, helped maintain open space, and is working to convert the County fleet to hybrid vehicles. He plans to support legislation that would place a fee on single-use paper bags. Clean fleets, eliminating styrofoam, and reducing single-use bags are some of NYLCV’s key priorities. That’s why we are proud to stand with Legislator Burrows in his reelection and we urge voters in legislative district 15 to cast their ballot for him this fall.”
