Yonkers Insider had the absolute honor to interview Community Activist and Historian, Angelique Piwinski. She has done much in being active in the Yonkers Community in many organizations. It was our pleasure to interview this extraordinary person and it was one of the best people that I got to interview in my humble opinion in all my many years of interviewing newsmakers in this CIty of Yonkers.
She started in 2009 a website called victoriansource.com of Yonkers in Victorian time. She has collected many victorian items from Yonkers. She has a great record as an historian. Angelique also worked with BID in Yonkers to put together and start the very popular Pride Festival, now held every year in Yonkers.
In 2014, She received the Yonkers Historical Society's Key to History Award, It is testament to the knowledge and how hard working she is, on the all the issues that she cares for. She is a leader and always leads by Example.
Angelique Piwinski can best be described as the Consumerate Volunteer in our City of Yonkers. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at The State University of New York teaching local history. She is the ultimate historian, who lives to talk about and discuss Yonkers History.
Angelique Piwinski can be best described as a Seasoned marketing/advertising/branding professional, an experienced diversity & inclusion leader, a recognized award winning local historian and lecturer and a highly motivated community champion. That is Angelique Piwinski, It was my ultimate honor to interview this great person. She is an inspiration to this reporter after I interviewed her. She had a great story to tell Yonkers Insider.
