Dear Friends,
As the new legislative session for the Yonkers City Council is set to begin in the beginning of September, I would like to encourage all residents in my district (District 3) and beyond to learn about the happenings of last legislative session, 2018/2019. Here in the Yonkers City Council, we keep a record of all passed and failed legislation brought in front of the City Council. Knowing what the upcoming legislative session is important if you or your neighbor(s) would like to follow a resolution/bill/ordinance as it makes its way through Council rulings. Moreover, a new legislative session means introducing new and forgotten proposals for improving the City of Yonkers.
On a different note: Please be on the lookout for more up and coming events that will take place throughout the fall months. Also, 'back to school' specials around Yonkers are still going on since the beginning of August so be on the lookout for those hot deals. Local vendors want to give you the best deals for your Yonkers student(s), and buying locally helps to strengthen our Yonkers schools. Have and safe and happy summer!
Best Wishes,
Majority Leader Michael Sabatino
