Yonkers Insider Sports Desk: Yonkers Native Second Baseman Joe Panik joins the NY Mets.


Yonkers Native Joe Panik, Second Baseman has joined NY Mets Baseball after being clearing Waivers after being Designated for Assignment by San Francisco Giants.

He won a World Series Ring as a member of  San Francisco Giants. He is a good glove and doesn't Strike out and is a clutch hitter, a bit that the Mets will need now that starting Second Baseman Robinson Cano is the Injured List.
