Also on Monday, the City’s Contractor (Peter J. Due to the complexity of the repair at this location, we will not be able to provide an overall duration of work at this time. We anticipate working at the site between the hours of 7am and 4pm, weekdays. City of Yonkers Police will be on site to assist with traffic control. The following vehicular traffic detour will be in place during the work:
- South bound traffic will remain open to vehicular traffic on Warburton Avenue between Wells Avenue and Manor House Square
- North Bound Warburton Avenue between Manor House Square and Wells Avenue will be closed during work operations (7am – 4pm)
- North Bound traffic on Warburton Avenue will be detoured east onto Manor House Square to North Broadway, then north on North Broadway to Wells Avenue, then west on Wells Avenue to Warburton Avenue, then north onto Warburton Avenue
During non-working hours, the excavations will be plated and traffic will be permitted to travel north bound on Warburton Avenue between Manor House Square and Wells Avenue.
Have a safe and wonderful weekend. HAPPY FRIDAY!
