We recently sat down for an interview with Yonkers City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Issac of the 2nd District.

We discussed issues that matter to her, issues like Funds for our Education System from New York State, also the importance to change the formula of Education Aid to help Yonkers Schools, Make sure Yonkers gets recurring revenue from New York State in Education Funding. Also the Councilwomen has sponsored Legislation about going after Landlords who don't do good by Tenants in our City of Yonkers.

Other issues of concern from the Councilwomen, are concern about getting more money for our Schools and Students from New York State, to make sure we make Immigrants feel secure and safe, make sure the Education and the City Side of the Yonkers Budget are both in good fiscal shape, so services are always there for Yonkers Residents, also to make sure Yonkers stays a Safe City and also that Southwest Yonkers stays safe and secure in terms of Crime.
