A Yonkers Dominican Heritage Celebration was held at City Hall this week, ahead of next month’s National Dominican Day Parade in NYC. These Dominican Heritage celebrations usually take place in NYC, but because Yonkers is home to such a large Dominican community, we are now officially part of the festivities! Thank you to Mayor Mike Spano and the National Dominican Day Parade Committee for putting this event together, and congratulations to the Yonkers Honorees!
