On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in honor of Italian Heritage Month, the flag of Italy was raised at City Hall. Raising the Italian flag is a reminder of the important role Italians had and continue to have in making Yonkers
the city it is today.  


Italian-American Heritage Month is celebrated to honor the achievements and contributions they have made to our country.
