Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: Celebrating 31 Years of Independence in Ukraine!

 

This past Wednesday, we raised the Ukrainian Flag to celebrate its 31 years of independence from the Soviet Union.

This year’s celebration is more poignant than ever before, given the ongoing war and threats with Russia.

But, this gives even more of a reason to acknowledge and celebrate Ukraine’s perseverance and grit to uphold its independence.
