Dear Neighbors,
As in previous years, I will again be holding a special hearing for District 7 residents to weigh in and share their thoughts on the Proposed 2021 Westchester County Budget, Tuesday, December 1, at 7:30 PM. This year, we will hold a hearing virtually by Webex. In short, County Executive Latimer’s proposed budget calls for:
- 2% increase for nonprofits,
- $5 million for economic development programs,
- $5 million for housing assistance programs and
- $2 million for food insecurity.
- $1 million savings on the tax levy for the second year in a row
- No cuts to services

In addition, the BOL will be holding another public virtual hearing on Wednesday, December 9th at 7 PM.
