CITY OF YONKERS & WESTCHESTER JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES TO ANNOUNCE NEIGHBORHOOD NATURALLY OCCURRING RETIREMENT COMMUNITY (NNORC) GRANT.
New York State Grant to Help Provide For Residents Who Age In Place;
Yonkers is First Municipality in Westchester County to be Awarded.

will join the Yonkers Office of the Aging (YOFA) and Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS)
Monday, October 7 at 12:00pm at Yonkers City Hall to announce the awarding of the New York State Office for the Aging Grant entitled NNORC (Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community).
The grant will help coordinate a broad range of health and social services for older residents to age in their own homes/apartments, in the community that they love. Yonkers is the first municipality in
Westchester County to be awarded a NNORC grant.
