Delfim has lived in Yonkers for over 26 years and he has been involved in Journalism doing Yonkers Insider for over 16 Years as well as being active politically for the last 26 years.
Delfim and James Wieland worked together as a team for the Yonkers Home News and Times with Ralph Martinelli and Dan Murphy. Del and Jimmy exposed what was going on, in terms of News. They formed a team and were called Wieland Heusler and they exposed the Political Machines in our City and County.
After James death in 2004, Delfim decided to start his own publication. frustrated that the Main Stream Media in Yonkers and Westchester wasn't providing the news to Yonkers Residents and Westchester County Residents. He continues providing news to Yonkers and Westchester County Residents to this very day for over 16 years. He has his own radio show on Blog Talk Radio called Yonkers Insider Online Blog Radio Show and also for a year and a half was a guest on Hezi Aris radio show Westchester on the Level to provide analysis of news going on in Yonkers with Hezi Aris.
Also Delfim has been politically active for over 26 years. He got an award from Yonkers Democrats in 1995 for being named Yonkers Democratic Party District Leader of the Year, that award was given to him by then Yonkers Dems City Leader, Ann Muro. Delfim also ran three poltical races for Westchester County Legislator in District 15, he ran in 2001 against Westchester County Legislator Louis Mosiello and in 2011 and 2013 against Westchester County Legislator Gordon Burrows.
Del continues to bring news to Yonkers and Westchester Residents as a way of informing the public at large as to what is going on in our governments. This is his Community Service and Community Service to the City and County that he loves so much.
