Every two seconds, someone in the United States is in need of blood or platelets for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. It's an ongoing need that we all can help to address by becoming blood donors.
I hope you will participate in my next blood drive: Tuesday, November 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Red Cross Blood Center at 40 Saw Mill River Road, Hawthorne.
