Mayor Spano to Kick-Off Record Number of Yonkers Marathon Runners, Sunday, September 15th at 8A.M.

 

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will kick-off the Yonkers Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5K race on Sunday, September 15 at 8AM outside the Yonkers Riverfront Library (Buena Vista Ave. and Dock St.)

The 97^th Annual Yonkers Marathon is the second oldest in the country and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. A record number of runners are registered for this year’s marathon events, with over 1600 runners expected to participate -- the largest in Yonkers Marathon history.
