Yonkers Insider: Westchester County Legislator James Nolan 15th District: Westchester County Accepting Applications for 2023 Food Security Grant.

 

Dear Friends and Neighbors, 

Westchester County recognizes the increased burden on local food pantries and soup kitchens. In the 2023 budget, we allocated funding to address food insecurity and Westchester County is now pleased to present a Food Security Grant to our local nonprofit organizations who serve our most vulnerable communities. We are offering an opportunity to help food pantries and soup kitchens provide additional food/meals to County residents. This Grant will cover services from January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Applications are due by September 1, 2023.
