Passed unanimously, Assemblyman Sayegh's legislation to help law enforcement combat swatting and harassment calls from fake phone numbers. Companies providing apps that hide a person's phone number would be required to keep records of the original phone
number in question, the internet protocol (IP) address, and the time, date and duration of the telephone call.
