Assemblyman Sayegh co-sponsored a resolution to memorialize May 6 – 12 as Nurses Week in New York State, to celebrate registered nursing’s accomplishments and efforts to improve our health care system, and to show our appreciation for the nation’s registered nurses not just during this week, but at every opportunity throughout the year.
This week Assemblyman Sayegh's office participated in the East Yonkers Kiwanis Club's 11th Annual Nurse Appreciation Event. At this event, residents came together to celebrate the tremendous contributions made by nurses in all capacities across our City. As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thankful for the resilience and tenacity of our nurses who helped us collectively overcome the contagion with their strength and tenacity. We are forever grateful.
