The City of Yonkers has acquired a nearly 130,000 square foot parcel on the Ludlow waterfront, marking a significant step towards creating the first public waterfront park in Southwest Yonkers, which will be the largest expansion of the city's parks system in decades. The $13 million purchase has been completed, and the next steps will involve relocating the current tenant and designing and constructing the park.
