During the past two weeks, the City Council held several Town Hall meetings as well as a public hearing in an effort to get public input on the proposed redistricting maps for the City of Yonkers. Redistricting is required to account for population shifts within electoral districts, as per the US Census data provided for each municipality. I'm happy we were able to incorporate some of the feedback received from the first two Town Halls into the revised map, which can be viewed here:
