Assemblyman Sayegh discussed Policing with Westchester County Police Benevolent Association President Michael Hagan and 1st Vice President Khalid McLendon when they visited the Capitol this week.
Their organization is a member of the The Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester, (APA), which represents all of the 4,000 sworn law enforcement officers in Westchester County. The APA issued a statement condemning the actions of Police in the death of Tyre Nichols. It concluded with;
"We will not let this despicable act diminish the compassion and heroic work done by our police officers every day,” -
