Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: Lunar New Year Celebration.

 


The Lunar New Year holiday took place on January 22, 2023, but the residents at 289 Nepperhan Avenue, many of whom are Korean, celebrated a little early. I joined approximately 200 residents from 289 Nepperhan Avenue on January 17th for Lunar New Year festivities, which included food, music, raffles, and a great sense of community.
