Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 

Dear friend,

This week, I witnessed some of Yonkers' best and brightest move into what will be some of the best years of their lives.

I also presented the Mayor's Annual Scholarship Award to Lalaine Castellon from Yonkers High School.

Lalaine is someone who exemplifies the best of what makes Yonkers so special – those who face challenges head-on and strive for the best despite any obstacles in their way.

She is one of the best and brightest our Yonkers Public Schools have to offer, and I am confident she will continue to make Yonkers proud in her future endeavors.
