Groundwork Hudson Valley’s off the grid science and environmental education center – the Science Barge – is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, June 4 from 12pm-4pm with a celebration. Every year, the Science Barge welcomes school groups, families, tristate area visitors, and residents. It offers guided tours, educational programs around food, energy conservation, and sustainability, and provides hands-on educational activities such as planting.
