In the Assembly I rose to urge my colleagues to support my legislation to correct gendered language in the Public Officers Law, because we have a Governor, Governor Kathy Hochul, who is not a he/him! The (unofficial) vote was 145 in favor, and 1 opposed. I thank my colleagues on both sides of the aisle for their support.
