Our beautifully diverse City of Yonkers is home to people and their descendants from around the globe and my Assembly Office seeks to honor the heritage and contributions of as many as we can throughout the year.

As an immigrant from Jordan, and the first Jordanian American elected to the State Assembly, Jordanian-American Heritage is close to my heart. It is an honor to sponsor the Assembly Resolution to make May 25, Jordanian American Heritage Day in the Empire State.
