LEG. RUTH WALTER TO ANNOUNCE COUNTY FUNDING FOR NURSE-FAMILY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM 

Program Provides Home Visiting Services to First-Time Mothers

 

Westchester County Legislator Ruth Walter to be joined by Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Corazon Pineda-Isaac and Executives from Montefiore Medical Center to announce the County’s investment in the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program. The program provides home visiting services to Medicaid and WIC-eligible, first-time mothers with the goal of supporting and empowering mothers and their children through pregnancy and infancy.
