The Yonkers City Council held a Rules Committee Meeting last night, Tuesday, September 21, 2021. All items on the agenda appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items. 

Items for Consideration by Administration: 1. Resolution – accepting the donation of Dry Ice from Con Edison for distribution to City Residents (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). 2. Settlement by Law Department - $240,000 – (compromise of worker’s compensation lien) - malpractice claim of Frank Ferraro against Montefiore Medical Center (wages City of Yonkers paid Ferraro pursuant to Workers Compensation Law) – PAYMENT BACK TO THE CITY OF YONKERS (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). 3. Resolution – Inter-Municipal Agreement - EISEP Case Management Grant Funding ($97,352) (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). 4. Resolution – Inter-Municipal Agreement - Community Services for the Elderly Grant Funding ($65,277) (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021).  5. Resolution – Inter-Municipal Agreement - CSE Case Management Service ($95,828) (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). Items for Consideration by City Council: 1. By Majority Leader Corazon Pineda-Isaac- Resolution recognizing and celebrating Hispanic heritage in the City of Yonkers by declaring September 15 to October 15 Hispanic Heritage Month (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). 2. By Council President Mike Khader, Majority Leader Corazon Pineda-Isaac, Minority Leader Breen, Councilmembers Williams, Diaz, Rubbo And Merante - Commissioner of Deeds (Moved to City Council Agenda for September 28, 2021). 3. By Councilwoman Williams - Resolution in support of New York Senate Bill S1553B and Assembly Bill A6399A, also known as the "Clean Slate Act" (Put in Community and Mental Health Services Committee for further discussion). I encourage Yonkers city residents to keep up with these items to stay current on what is happening in our city!
