Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend,

This week, I unveiled Yonkers’ latest commitment to providing quality affordable housing and support services to those looking for a pathway forward.

Partnering with Westhab, Yonkers invested over $1M into Dayspring Commons & Community Center (320 Walnut Street) – offering a safe haven for over 60 families, including assistance with career opportunities, counseling services, childcare, and more.

This project was what I envisioned, providing temporary assistance to give a permanent solution to those needing help getting back on their feet to regain control of their lives. 

Dayspring Commons & Community Center will prove to be an invaluable resource for the community.
