Greenburgh Insider: Greenburgh police promote #walksafeGreenburgh--for children.

The Greenburgh police are rewarding children who walk safe!

The Greenburgh Police department is working hard to make sure that your children are safe. They have implemented a great program featured on News12  #WalkSafeGreenburgh initiative. Over the course of  the last week and a half members of the Traffic Safety unit stopped in almost all of our public elementary schools and conducted assemblies with students regarding pedestrian safety. The police even provide rewards to students for walking safely.

We’re building new sidewalks around town, plan to continue to enhance crosswalks, are educating children  and will do whatever we can to make Greenburgh a safe place for pedestrians and children. A big thank you to the Greenburgh Police Department for prioritizing student pedestrian safety.

THANK YOU!
