It has certainly been an eventful week.

We had a great start welcoming 31 new members to the Yonkers Fire Department!

With the support of Barry McGoey, Yonkers Firefighters Local 628, we received an $11.5 million grant from the federal government to invest in our essential workers on the frontlines.

Thanks to the much-needed assistance, our city can better support our Yonkers Bravest.

Congratulations to all, I have no doubt you will serve the residents of our great city well.
