Mayor Mike Spano Update.

Friends,

Several families were displaced after the fire on Sunday night at 149 North Broadway.

During trying times, Yonkers has shown its unique ability to come together, and this time was no different.

Thanks to the 60 Yonkers Firefighters, everyone was able to evacuate safely. The Yonkers Police Department, Office of Constituent Services, the Yonkers Office of Emergency Management and the American Red Cross in Greater New York has been instrumental in providing the necessary resources for the families impacted by this fire.

Thank you to the Yonkers Nodine Community Center for opening their doors to the community and providing temporary shelter during these trying times - it was a true collaborative effort.
