Yonkers Insider: News from Karen Beltran, Democrat for Yonkers Mayor.

We started collecting signatures at the end of February to officially get on the ballot as a first time candidate. In that short time, we have seen a huge outpouring and support in our grassroots people powered campaign. I’m proud to have raised over $12,000 mostly from small contributions from friends, the community and family. In that same time, my opponent received contributions totaling over $300,000.

This is not about the money, it is about winning based on principles and what the residents of Yonkers want for our future.
