Scarsdale, NY, May 24, 2019 – Professional Real Estate Broker Julia Ricciuti of RE/MAX Prime Properties located in Scarsdale, ranked No. 9 overall in the New York State Region among RE/MAX associates for Gross Closed Commissions in 2018. In addition, she received the prestigious RE/MAX Chairman’s Club Award for 2018. Her total sales volume in 2018 was over $23,201,300 with 39 transactions. The awards were announced at the recent RE/MAX R4 Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Julia Ricciuti is a 30- year veteran of the real estate industry, with 25 years as a highly productive RE/MAX professional. Her residential sales service area focuses on the communities of Eastchester, Yonkers and Scarsdale in lower Westchester County. Her record of productivity has been consistent. She completes 30-40 transactions .in a year. The sales price of typical residential properties average $600,000.

Ms. Ricciuti concedes that the secret to her success is her generosity. “I am a people person.  I like to meet with clients face to face to hear from them what they are looking for in a home and what they can afford to spend. I will do what it takes to close a deal for my clients. If it means purchasing a new dishwasher, I will do it. My philosophy is ‘You need to spend money to make money.’ I have keep a positive attitude and have the motivation to make things work out for everyone involved in a sales is vital,” said Ms. Julia Ricciuti.

In 2018 residential property inventory was low in throughout New York State which prompted bidding wars.  Julia explained, “I never want to see a client end up ‘house pour.’ We experienced a number of bidding wars last year here in Westchester which meant some clients were fraught with disappointment when they could not purchase their dream home. I reassured these clients that I would make every effort to find another comparable home that they would be very happy to call their own.”

Advances in technology have had a significant influence on Julia’s career. “When a potential client views a home on the internet before I meet with them, I find they may not want to look at the home because the view on the internet may not have the ‘curb appeal’ it deserves. Also, I find that clients have questions and every transaction involves many steps, so I am constantly getting texts and answering texts. There is no break but I never tire of the process, it’s all a part of doing business.”

“Being a real estate professional requires a considerable amount of time. Anyone entering this field should know that weekends are going to busy. I have found having open houses every Sunday has contributed to my success in this very competitive business.”

In addition to her career, Julia believes in giving back to her community. For example in December 2018 she hosted a holiday dinner for 100 women at a local restaurant.  The women donated toys for children, money and canned food for a food bank. The event was highly successful and a meaningful way to give back to her community.
