Assemblyman Sayegh joined with 1199 SEIU (Healthcare Workers United) members from the Westchester, Hudson Valley, and Capital Regions, as they rallied at the Capitol for increased State Medicaid support for hospitals and nursing homes. They believe the financial support in the proposed budget is insufficient to provide for hospitals and nursing homes to offer fair salaries for health care workers, allowing for Quality Health Care.
